Obituary of Lyle UPSHAW

After a courageous battle with cancer, our loving brother, father and son passed away at the Sarcee Carewest Hospice in Calgary, Alberta on September 12, 2012 at the age of 59. Lyle was born in Calgary, Alberta and leaves behind his daughter Traci Upshaw, son Shane Upshaw (Marcia) and grandchildren: Cole, Reed, Blaine, Jarred and Cody. He is survived by his mother Norma, twin sister Lynn Bukowicki (Wayne), brothers: Wayne (Millie), Dwight (Lorraine), Blaine (Laurie), and sister Janice (Graham Campbell); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great-nephews. Lyle was predeceased by his father Ronald Edward Earl Upshaw. Lyle loved watching his western movies, had an amazing sense of humour and a contagious laugh. He enjoyed his many years driving long distance and often called home to talk about the beautiful sights he would see while on his travels. All of our love, your family. At Lyle’s request there will be no service held. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Sarcee Hospice for showing such care and compassion to Lyle.
