On behalf of Calgary CASARA I wish to add our heart felt condolences to the family of Laureen Steinke. Laureen was a strong supporter of “Air Search and Rescue”for approximately 17 years. She served on the executive as Zone Commander and Zone Administrator for her duration with our association. If the “Wine Memorial” is in the future several Legacy Members would like to attend. I am sadden my Laureen's passing. She helped me greatly when I started at Postmedia in the Toronto office. I will miss her laughter, her humour and her helping hand.

I was in total shock to hear of Laureen’s passing....My dear dear friend you were as kind as any soul on this earth...you were funny, intelligent, heartwarming, and someone who I shared happiness and sorrow with. laureen was the best sister inlaw I have ever had she was so kind. plus led such a full life I just wish it would have lasted longer as people like her are long and far between. myself , my husband and children and grandchildren will have a very large void in our life.
