Alec of Calgary, AB, passed away on July 26, 2016 at the age of 15 years.
Alec was a thoughtful, loving, caring and outgoing young man who loved his family and friends. He was passionate about hockey and video games. Alec will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Alec is survived by his parents Gina and Rick, his brother Marcus and sister Stefania. He is also survived by his Grandparents Jan and Bill Mele, Bruce and Marlene Maier and Helene Smail. Great-Grandmas Caterina Mele and Kathleen Bowcott. He will be dearly missed by his many aunts and uncles, Anne, Shane, Jess, Dom, Chris, Cindi, Casey, Jill, Lynn, Morgan, Melissa, Mary, Ron, Frank, Diana and Lenore. He is also survived by his cousins Kaitlynn, Brandon and Kiera. He will also be missed by many more friends and family.
Alec was predeceased by his Grandpa Ron Remenda, his auntie Trisha Mele and many great-grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held at Centre Street Church, 3900 - 2nd Street N.E. on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Friends and family are invited to the Calgary Italian Club, 416 1st Ave N.E. for a time of fellowship and refreshments following the service.
