Obituary of Irene Agnes Willing

Irene Willing, beloved wife of Kenneth Willing of Calgary passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the age of 85 years.

After graduating from the University of Alberta in 1955, Irene worked as a Registered Nurse. Outside of her career, Irene enjoyed the game of Bridge and volunteering, specifically on the Bethany Board of Directors. Irene was a loving mother and friend, and she will be dearly missed.

Irene is survived by her husband, Kenneth Willing; her son and his family, Jeffrey, Pamela, Nicolle and Amanda; her daughter and her children, Laura Thurgood, Graham and Katie. Irene also leaves behind to mourn her, many good friends, in-laws, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at Foothills Lutheran Church, 3104 34 Ave N.W., on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 12:00 p.m.   Reception to follow at the church hall.
