Obituary of Dana MACHOVEC

Dana Machovec passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the age of 59 years in Edmonton.

 

Dana came to Canada in 1969 from her birth country of Czech Republic with her family.

 

Dana loved the beauty of the natural world and all that it offered for her well being all animals needed a hug. She traveled around the world a little and very much enjoyed various customs and cultures of visited countries. Lucky for her she spent many of the cold Canadian winters in Mexico.

 

When there was no time for travel she worked in various customer service jobs. Dana also volunteered her time and enjoyed helping at many different centers. She will always be remembered and loved.

 

As per the family’s wishes there will be a private family celebration of life at a later date.

 

In lieu of flowers you may make donations to a charity of your choice.

 

Dana is survived by her brother John and his family as well as many relatives and friends both in Canada and the Czech Republic.

 

Dana was predeceased by her parents Anna and Jan Machovec.

 

Dana may you be blessed by the faith that you believed in and which is in your heart. May you rest in peace.
