The family of Mary Gaudon is deeply saddened to announce her passing at the Bethany Care Centre in Calgary, AB on May 27, 2013 at the age of 87 years.
Mary was born in Deer Lake, Newfoundland. After having to leave school at a young age to work and help support her family, one of her proudest accomplishments was returning to school where she received a Bachelor of Education from Memorial University in 1982.
Mary loved life and among her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren and her books. Mary will be remembered by her many relatives and friends for having a big heart, a generous nature and a good sense of humour.
Mary is survived by her children: Carolyn Sullivan, Brad Gaudon, Valerie Gaudon, Allison Gaudon; and grandchildren: Kyle Sullivan, Taylor Gaudon and Gabby Gaudon.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Bethany Care Centre for taking such good care of our mother.
Mary will be laid to rest in Newfoundland where a service will be held this summer.
