Sadly, I only just learned Olga is gone. Al and I were friends and I knew Olga as a happy soul beneath it all. Once when I was a kid, maybe in the early 70's, she was singing a Gordon Lightfoot song. She was singing full throated and full throttle, English words all wrong yet best rendition ever. We both laughed so hard and for me it was one of those laughs of a lifetime. "That's what you get for lovin' me." became "Does you forget to lovin' me?" I just thought of that laugh again and googled Karpoff and Canmore and learned the news. I am sad she is gone but I will always be happy to have known Olga, who again blessed me today with her memory.
