Obituary of Tarseam PARMAR

Tarseam Singh Parmar, beloved husband of Mohinder Parmar of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the age of 75 years. Tarseam was born in Punjab, India and served his community as a policeman for many years before immigrating to Calgary in 1981. Tarseam worked in Calgary as a custodian for Superstore for 13 years and truly loved his time there. Tarseam was most proud of his children, grandchildren and especially his great-grandson and great- granddaughter. Tarseam was a very strong person, having won his fight against cancer in 2009. He was an advocate of a healthy lifestyle through exercise, eating properly, educating oneself and having a great love for family. Tarseam is survived by his loving wife, Mohinder; sons, Jaswinder Singh (Ashar) Parmar and Harbhajan Singh (Parmjit) Parmar; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Krishana Devi Jaswal, as well as several nieces and nephews.
