Obituary of Harvey ENNS

Harvey Douglas Enns of Calgary passed away on October 7, 2012 at the age of 46 years. Harvey was born and raised in Jasper, Alberta. Harvey received his diploma as a Computer Engineering Technologist from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, and became a proud member of the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta. He began his career with the Calgary Sun working there almost 15 years. Most recently he re-energized his career at SAIT. Harvey is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Enns of Calgary; sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Bill Graham of Calgary; brother, Murray Enns of Edmonton; nephew, Chris Graham of Calgary and his half-brother, Murray (Dana) Gilroy of Surrey, BC, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Abram Enns in 1975 and step- father, Edwin Simpson in 2008. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Deer Park United Church (77 Deer Point Road S.E.) on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. A Private Graveside Service will take place at Queen’s Park Cemetery at a later date.
