Alvin Frederick of Calgary, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012 at the age of 92 years.
Alvin joined the Military in 1942 and 1952 began his career as a chef in Ralston, Alberta for the DND(Department of National Defence) before retiring after 25 years of service. Alvin had a passion for wood working, especially puzzles which he enjoyed to share with his family.
Alvin is survived by his loving daughter, Doreen Folk of Oliver, BC; grandchildren, Gary (Michelle) and their children Cameron and Jason; Wendi (Rob) Kerr and their sons, Michael and Gabriel; Lorna Hirsch and her children, Veronica and Cole; Blair (Rachael) Hirsch and their children, Hayden, Ethan, Quinten and Blake as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Shirley Diane in 1998; his parents, brothers and sisters.
