Obituary of Eleanor McLAUGHLIN

Ruth McLAUGHLIN of Calgary, AB, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on November 28, 2012 at the age of 49 years. Ruth is survived by her brother Gerald and sister Thelma Czarnecki (Edward); brother-in-law, Paul Yaworsky (Sylvia); as well as her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Rae and Elsie McLaughlin; sister Lorraine Yaworsky; and sister-in-law Sally. Growing up, she attended Oakville School in Manitoba and graduated from Arthur Meighen High School. She graduated from Brandon University in Education and continued her education at LaValle University. Ruth spent her time teaching in rural Manitoba and Winnipeg. After teaching, she moved to Calgary to start a new career in Graphic Design. In the past few years, Ruth pursued further education in Lethbridge, taking courses in Human Resources and Accounting. Ruth enjoyed hiking and spending time in the mountains. She was also very artistic and had an ear for music. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
