Obituary of Robert MINGO

Terry Mingo of Calgary, AB passed away suddenly on Boxing Day after a short battle with lung cancer. Terry will be dearly missed by his children Vicki (James) Dalton, Jeff (Lisa) Mingo, and Ryan (Ashley) Mingo, as well as his seven grandchildren John, William, Kaleb, Spencer, Simon, Makayla and William. He is also survived by his sister Mary Cameron of Lacombe, AB and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Terry was born in Tatamagouche, NS and moved to Calgary with his parents in 1962 were he attended Viscount Bennett High School. In 1969 he married Lynn and together they had three children. In the early 1970’s he apprenticed and attended S.A.I.T. to become an auto and heavy duty mechanic, which was an occupation he held in many capacities until he retired in 2004. Terry enjoyed camping and photography. He also loved spoiling his grandchildren and Zoe. Terry was predeceased by his parents Lester and Aleta (Currie) Mingo, his former wife Lynn (Girling) Mingo, brother-in-law Calvin Cameron and daughter-in-law Kelly (Hill) Mingo.
