Obituary of Vernon FRALICK

Vern passed away peacefully after a long courageous battle with ALS. He will be remembered as a loving faithful husband and father, a fearless leader and a faith filled mentor. Even through Vern’s battle with ALS he remained strong and continued to minister and encourage those around him. Vern’s passion was to minister the Gospel through various outlets including Sunday schools, prison ministry, summer camps and youth programs. Through these programs he managed to touch the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy that will not soon be forgotten. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Mary Fralick, and their 3 sons Kees (Amy), Bo (Jackie) and Jonah. He is also survived by his parents Gerald and Joyce Fralick, his sister Alma Ruby (Don) and there 2 children Adam and Amanda, his brother Gordon Fralick (Kate) and there 3 children Josh, Jon, and Jess, and his brother in law Mike Dewilde (Judy) and there 2 children Nicole and Tyler. He will also be remembered by countless friends and loved ones. The family would like to invite all those who would like to pay their respects, to a celebration service on Tuesday, January 15 at 1:00 PM at Cornerstone Church (formerly The Garden), 1227 48th Ave NE. We would appreciate your company and support. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Vern’s memory to the ALS society of Calgary.
