Maureen McCann Moe beloved wife of Stu McCann of Calgary, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the age of 67 years.
A native Calgarian, Maureen enjoyed everything Calgary had to offer; the Parade, Rodeo, the Chucks, Stampeders and Flames. She was quick with a joke and quick to laugh. She loved her pets, Sweetie Pie and Joey. Maureen volunteered for many years with Al-Anon and the Girl Guides. Everyone she came into contact with became a very special person to her and she became a very special person to them.
Maureen is survived by her husband of 28 years, Stu; daughter, Erin McCann and son-in-law, Jason Lefevre; grandchildren Gabrielle, Quintin, Kaitlin and Cameron.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Kathleen Lee.
A Memorial Service will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to a charity of the donors choice.
