October 15, 1922 to October 4, 2013 Margaret Miller of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the age of 90 years. Margaret was born and raised in North Sydney, NS. In 1942 she married Arthur Miller, moving to Shubenacadie, NS where they began to farm. In 1953 Marg and Arthur moved to East York (Toronto) where they lived and raised their family from 1953 to 1975. Marg and Arthur later sold their home East York retiring to Pigeon Lake, ON. Marg and Arthur loved to travel and especially enjoyed their winter home in Florida. In 1990 Arthur passed away, and 1993, Marg decided to move to Calgary to be closer to her family. She was a loving and devoted, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. Margaret is survived by her daughters Doreen Miller and Laura Cook (John); daughter-in-law Susan Miller; granddaughter Vicki; grandsons, Howard (Kirsten) Colbary, David (Jen) Miller, Clinton Cook (Lauren Fry) and Wesley Cook (Ashley Fletcher); great-grandchildren, Josephine Wells, Alexandria Wells, Ethan Kamata, Sophia Miller, Carter Colbary and Connor Miller; brothers Gordon (Bessie) Rogers and Sherman (Evelyn) Rogers; sisters Olive Brown, and Vivian (Mike) Pate; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Arthur Earl (1990); her sons David Arthur (1968) and Alan Clarence (2012); her parents Clarence and Ethel Rogers as well as several sisters and brothers.
