Mrs. Amarjit Kaur Khaira of Calgary, AB passed away at Peter Lougheed Centre on January 30, 2013 at the age of 88 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Prahlad Singh Khaira, one brother and three sisters. Amarjit will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Malvinder Singh and his wife Inderjit, Manjinder Singh and his wife Ranjinder Kaur; daughters, Kamaljit Kaur and her husband Sukhdarshan Singh Pannu, and Manjit Kaur and her husband Feroz Bandali; nine grandchildren; and one great-grand child. She is also survived by one brother Gurchet Singh Grewal in India and one sister Harjeet Kaur Sidhu of Kamloops, BC.
Funeral Services will be held at the CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W. (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 2:30 PM followed by Prayers at Sikh Society of Calgary (Guru Nanak Temple), 739 81 Street S.W.
