Vera, beloved wife of Harold “Corky”, passed away peacefully October 8, 2013 at The Brentwood Nursing Home at the age of 91 years. Vera and Corky loved to dance and spent many happy hours dancing at the 264 Legion. They loved to travel and visit with their Navy friends. Vera will be dearly missed by Corky, her husband of 68 years, and her daughter Bonnie. She will also be missed by many extended family and friends in Alberta and the Maritimes. Funeral Services will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
