Beloved father Bogdan Mercik of Calgary passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the age of 57 years.
Bogdan was born in Poland in 1955. He and Grazynka got married in Poland in 1978; they immigrated to Canada in 1980 where they lived a happy and fulfilled life. Bogdan enjoyed reading, spending time outdoors and spoiling his adored puppy Mishka.
Bogdan is lovingly remembered and dearly missed by daughters: Patricia and Sandra; mother Anna with Family, father Zdzislaw with family, sister Izabela with her son Chris, brother Alex, aunt Alina Jacek, cousin Jola Teszka with husband Ryszard, parents-in-law Maria and Kazimierz Pastuszka; brother-in-law Andrzej Pastuszka with wife Danuta; brother-in-law Grzegorz Pastuszka with wife Agnieszka; nephews Robert Teszka, Daniel Teszka, Marcin Pastuszka and Charlie Pastuszka; niece Beata Pastuszka with Peter Douglas; family and friends in Poland and in Canada.
He was preceded in death by his dear wife Grazynka in 2010.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2111 Uxbridge Drive N.W., Calgary on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
