Evelyn Brandt of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the age of 74 years.
Evelyn was born Blumenort, Manitoba on October 8, 1938. She moved to Calgary in 1966 where she worked as a caregiver and provided home care as both a foster parent and for those with special needs.
Evelyn is survived by her loving brother, Bill Brandt; sisters, Lena Enns, Elma Brandt, Mary Shymkiw, Nettie Brandt and Caroline Martens as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Abram and Anna Brandt; brother, Edward Brandt and sister, Jessie Brandt.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queens Park Cemetery) on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will take place at Queens Park Cemetery, 3219 4th Street N.W., on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. Funeral Services will follow at Highland Mennonite Brethren Church, 4018 Centre B Street N.W. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
