Obituary of Marion MARSHALL

Marion Marshall was born on November 18, 1928 in Miami, MB. She passed away peacefully at the Foothills Medical Centre on February 27, 2013 at the age of 84 years. Marion was a long-time member of Parkdale United Church, and formed many lasting friendships in the UCW. She had a keen interest in photography, painting and outdoor life. Time spent at the family cabin in B.C. was special. Marion was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Alex, three sons: John (Ethel), Wayne, and Robert, and the pride and joy of her life, the four granddaughters: Fawn, Dessie, Kathryn, and Jaclyn. She is also survived by her sister Joan Jordan of Courtney, B.C., and many other relatives. Marion was predeceased by her parents Jack and Grace Shellard, and her brothers-in-law Ted Jordan and John Wright. There will be a private family remembrance at a later date.
