Obituary of Donald SMYTH

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Smyth, age 81, on October 8. Don was born in Calgary and attended Crescent Heights High School and Mount Royal College and enjoyed a long career in the oil and gas industry. Don loved spending time in Windermere BC where he was an avid gardener and enjoyed golfing, skiing and tennis. At 79 Don was still skiing in the Rockies. Don is survived by his wife Yvonne and 4 children; Larry, Susan (Mark), Cathy (Pat) and Tricia (Dan) and 5 grandsons; Tyler, Joshua, John James, Eric and Ian, as well as extended family and friends. Don was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him. A private family service will be held.
