Obituary of Julia LONG

Julia Laverne Long passed away peacefully, and went to meet her Lord on March 4, 2013 at the age of 76 years. Julie was born in Alberta and worked as an Administrative Assistant. Julie is remembered with fondness because of her tender disposition and easy smile. She laughed often in spite of a life fraught with difficult circumstances, and had good friends who will miss her company and kindness. Julie is survived by her son Myron Moritz (Elizabet) of Edmonton, two brothers, Dale Loewen (Pat) of Sundre and Wilfred Loewen of Regina; her sister Doreen Gregory of Winnipeg; and her brother-in-law Richard Buren of Salem, Oregon. She had many cousins, nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews throughout the US and Canada. She was predeceased by her father Tobias Boese Loewen, her mother Sophia Josephine Loewen (nee Toews); both from Alberta, and her sister Inez Colleen Buren of Salem, Oregon. There will be a private family remembrance at a later date.
