Obituary of Winnifred BANNERMAN

Winnifred Alice Bannerman, beloved wife of Budd L. Bannerman of Calgary, passed away on March 6, 2013 at the age of 79 years. Winnifred was born in Eastwood, Ontario and was married to Budd in 1959. During the next five decades, she provided a loving home for her family in Toronto, Ontario; Ottawa, Ontario; Islington; Kingston, Jamaica; Wimbledon, England; Oakville, Ontario; and Calgary, Alberta. Winnie and Budd travelled extensively in Europe, Great Britain, North America, and the Caribbean; and enjoyed four cruises together to interesting destinations. Winnifred is survived by her husband, Budd; loving sons, Larry (Sandra) of Calgary, and Douglas of Houston, Texas; and her much loved grandchildren, Tyler and Jordana. She was predeceased by her brothers, Wesley, Cecil, Douglas, and Edwin; brother-in-law, Richard Storey; and very recently by her sister, Catherine. Winnie will be missed by her sister, Helen of Norwich, Ontario; brother-in-law, Hugh of Woodstock, Ontario; sister-in-law, Laureen of London, Ontario; sister-in-law, Mary of Woodstock, Ontario; daughter-in-law, Deborah of Calgary, Alberta; as well as many nieces and nephews.
