Obituary of Gerhald REMPEL

Gerhald Abram Rempel was born March 20, 1953 at the Calgary General Hospital. A few days later he was adopted by Abram and Catherine Rempel and was raised in a happy Christian home. The Rempel home was filled with foster children, as well as adopted children, and many relationships were made.
Garry and Doris were married March 24, 1973 and recently celebrated 40 years of marriage. Daughter Jennifer and son David gave him much happiness. Garry loved the Lord and was baptized in the Highland Mennonite Church which held many happy memories for him.
Garry is survived by his children: Jennifer Rempel (Christian Greiffenstein) and David Rempel (Anita); Siblings: Emily Klassen, Doreen Rempel (Richard Harding), Albert Rempel, David Salik, Wayne Salik, Michael Salik and Brenda Salik; Grandchildren: Aiden Rempel, Owen Rempel, Ella Rempel and Baby Greiffenstein.
Everyone was recently united as a family and spent pleasant times together.
A Memorial Service will be held at Centre Street Church Chapel, 3900- 2nd Street N.E.,on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
