Obituary of Margaret HALEY

Margaret passed away at the Foothills Hospital on April 8, 2013. Margaret was born in Leader, Saskatchewan and spent her childhood years on a farm near Prelate, Saskatchewan. She moved to Calgary in 1958, where she met her husband Douglas and they were together for 54 years. In her spare time, Margaret enjoyed spending time at the Casino, attending bingo with friends and exploring her musical talents on the piano and accordion. She will be dearly missed by her husband Douglas, daughter Karen (David) Lewin and son Kevin. Margaret is also survived by brother-in-law Don Haley and sister-in-law Darlene (Eddy) Adams. Margaret will be missed by many nieces and nephews in the Helfrich, Adams and Barabash families. She was predeceased by her sisters; Hannah, Hilda and Olga as well as her parents John and Sarah. At Margaret’s request, there will be no formal Funeral Services. Thanks to Foothills Hospital Unit 62 nurses and staff for their care during her time in hospital.
