Obituary of Helen JAMIESON

JAMIESON – Helen Mary (nee Martin) July 24, 1928 – April 16, 2013 Helen Mary Jamieson, beloved wife of Ian and mother of Jim and Margaret, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2013 after a brief illness. She was resilient and a true Calgarian who loved skating and hiking in her youth, and more recently lacemaking and knitting. Helen was befriended by many in her later home in Carstairs to whom we are deeply indebted. Nana will be missed by all and especially by her grandchildren Andrew, Thomas, John and Margaret; and her brother Jim. Helen was predeceased by her siblings William, Jean and Herb. At Helen’s request, there will be no funeral service.
