Obituary of Parkash RANDHAWA

Mrs. Parkash Kaur Randhawa, lovingly referred to as "Bibiji" passed away peacefully at the Peter Lougheed Hospital on April 30th, 2013 at the age of 87 years.
Mrs. Randhawa was born to Sadar and Sadarni Jaswant S. Tung in the village Bohani, (Dist. Kapurthala) Punjab, India. At the age of 18 she married the late Joginder S. Randhawa and lived in India until 1959 when he emigrated to England. She stayed behind in India with their five children and in 1963 she was re-united with Joginder Singh in Southall, Middlesex, England where they settled for over 10 years. In 1974, they moved to Canada with their sons Manjit, Gurjit and Manjits wife Kalvinder and Calgary has been home.
Parkash was a very dynamic, loving, caring and compassionate wife, mother and friend. We all have beautiful memories with her - filled with joy, laughter and love. We will deeply miss her presence but proudly remember her unconditional love.
Pre-deceased by her husband Mr. Joginder Singh Randhawa in 2007, she will be both sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her five children Surinder Kaur Chahal (son-in-law Ram Raghbir), Gurdeep Kaur Dhillon, Amarjit Kaur Rai,(son-in-law Sukhdev), Manjit Singh Randhawa (daughter-in-law Kalvinder), Gurjit (Jeff) Singh Randhawa (daughter-in-law Kiran); 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 - 4th Street NW (within the valley of Queen's Park Cemetery) on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. followed by a Bhog/Prayer Ceremony at the Sikh Society of Calgary Centre, 81st Street and Old Banff Coach Road S.W.
