Vern Deines beloved husband of Margaret Deines, of Calgary, passed away after a long struggle with cancer at the age of 81 years.
Besides his loving wife Margaret of 56 years, Vern is survived by his children and grandchildren, Jim Deines of Calgary (Graham; Ryan; Eric); Randy Deines of Calgary & Shelly Davies (Jack) of Parksville, B.C.; a sister, Ruth Mitchell, in Lloydminster; along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Vern was predeceased by his parents, Reinhold and Anna; and brothers, Art, Wayne, and Gary.
A celebration of Vern's life will be held at Calgary Crematorium and Chapel, 3219- 4th Street N.W. (within the valley of Queen's Park Cemetery) on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
