Donna was one of those women who always made time for you. if you needed help she did what she could for you. She was kind, thoughtful, funny, BIG HEART. Although we were not close in the end, I will always remember her with love in my heart.

Dear John, Blaine, Curtis and loved ones,
I was sad to see Donna's obit in the paper today. She made a difference in the lives of so many people. She taught me Sunday School and in grade one she brought tiny Sharlee to class every Sunday and laid her in the centre of the table as she taught. I later worked at Cat in the Hat and was so inspired that I went back to school to become a teacher. I feel so lucky to have been one of the children that she loved and gave such joy. ( I have now taught for 23 years and still use many of the tricks that I learned from Donna. Mostly I learned that the most important thing is love your kids.
I wish you all peace at this sad time. What a gift Donna was to us all.
(I also stole the Birthday Toast idea from Donna and my girls now make for their kids!)
I am just thinking that Donna is in heaven, singing with my Dad Bert Mundy and my MOm Bella!
Sincerely, Patti Acorn ( Mundy)

Dear John, Blaine and Curtis (and families),
I was sad to see Donna's obit in the paper today. I was just thinking of her the other day and of the huge diference that she made in so many lives. How many little ones had her tender care and went on from that loving foundation to excel in life?
Donna was my Sunday School teacher when I was very little and I remember her bringing Sharlee to our class and laying her in the middle of the table while she taught. What joy she took in being with children. I later worked at the Cat in the Hat with Donna and as a result ended up in teaching myself. I am so grateful fora ll she taught me and for the confidence she gave me to follow my dream. I thought you also might like to know that "Birthday Toast" is a tradition at my house and now my 4 year old grandaughter looks forward to it as well.
Donna loved my Dad, Bert Mundy and he loved her back. I wish you all peace at this sad time. What a lady!. Sincerely, Patti Acorn (Mundy)
