Obituary of Margaret Anne WHATLEY

Please share a memory of Margaret to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Marg, our beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and Friend, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2015 at the age of 78 years at the Agape Hospice. Marg had many passions in her life. She had a deep love for family and friends and always enjoyed entertaining and celebrating to make each day special. Marg’s love for her many dogs brought her great joy and comfort. She loved to travel and did so extensively both on land and by sea. When the travel bug subsided she continued to create beauty in the vast gardens she grew. Christmas was her favorite time of the year. The decorations were artistically displayed for one and all and only to be surpassed by her fabulous cooking and baking. Marg also enjoyed being a member of the Red Hatters and Whitecappers. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her two sons Rick (Janet) and Dave (Sheri-Lynn); grandchildren Cory (Heather), Kristin (Tyrel), and Matthew; great-grandson Marcus; her two brothers Garry (Loretta) and Lloyd (Terry); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Marg was predeceased by her first husband Clifford, her second husband Howard, her mother Anna, and her stepfather Walter.
