Obituary of Margaret PEDERSEN

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Alice (Burge Riddle) Pedersen, who died peacefully in her home in Calgary, AB on Monday, October 21, 2013. Margaret brought so much love to the lives of her family. Her greatest joy was in spending time with her grandchildren. She had a special talent of making each grandchild feel like they were the most important person in the world, and to them that is who she was, the most important person in the world. Margaret was a Veteran of the Canadian Air Force and often told her children and grandchildren stories of her time serving during the War, always making her family extremely proud. This was only one of Margaret’s many accomplishments. Margaret is survived by her sister Iona Stark (Arthur), sister-in-laws Opal Wilkie and Irene Pedersen, her children Rick Pedersen, Greg Pedersen (Karen), and Susan Verran (Bill). Margaret’s life was lit up by her grandchildren, Michael (Sha) Pedersen, Donald (Sarah) Verran, Debra (Richard) Johnstone, Brian, Kevin and Kari Pedersen. Margaret was predeceased by her parents James Riddle and Susan Burge Riddle, her husband Earl Pedersen, her siblings William, Hugh and Ernest Riddle, Winnifred Carlson, Dorothy Hopkins and her grandson Christopher Pedersen.
