I talked to Earl many times when he was in Saudi and had quite a few emails also with him. We were both working for the same oil company. He was always fun to chat too and full of life. I was saddened to see he passed away

I worked with your Dad in Vegas at Mercury Finance company for 5 years! He was a wonderful boss, fun to work with and taught me so much about the finance industry, credit counseling, underwriting, and the process of approving loans and what paper to buy and what not to. He was a hard driver though, he made us work hard. But it always paid off with a smile and laugh as we all piled out of the office at 5:30 eager to get home. I was wondering how he was doing and thought I would try to find him only to find this. I'm deeply saddened. He was a great boss and friend. He will be missed. My sincerest condolences to you and yours. Terri Williams

I knew Earl in Qatar. I just googled him out of curiosity and am saddened to find this. He was larger than life and it's hard to imagine him gone.
My deepest sympathy for your loss

Your eulogy about your dad was beautiful and so true. I went to school with your dad in Brooks but I was from Rainier. May your dad rest in peace and all the memories you have of him carry you through this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Still too young and with so much more living yet he wanted to do. I was a classmate of Earls' and growing up I lived very close to the Sommerville family. So glad we all got together for our class reunion in Rolling Hills a couple years ago.

I sent another one on a different link so I don't know if you got it. My deepest condolences to you girls. I went to school with Dannie. My sister went to school with your dad. Five days after your dad died, Carol Smith passed away (also from Rolling Hills). She was in your dad's class. My sister died in June. It is sad that these 3 have passed away just shortly after what should be their retirement. Within 9 months. My thoughts and Prayers are with you.
