Our beloved Mother passed away after a brief illness at the age of 85 years.
Mom had a huge heart and gave freely of her time and energy to those who needed her help. She was an avid gardener and sewer. She was a devoted Christian and a family peacemaker always seeing the good in others.
Alberta will be dearly missed by her sons, Leslie, Eugene and Henry. Also mourning her loss will be her sisters Teresa and Josephine as well as her brother Kazimierz (Ken). She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2006 and her parents Joseph and Genowefa Bohdan.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME, 1708 16th Avenue N.W. (across from the North Hill Shopping Centre, Calgary) on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2111 Uxbridge Drive N.W. on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
