I was one of Michie's nurses, and she and I had a couple conversations that made me feel that I had met someone who feel deeply, like me. On the times when she was able to open up, I felt we had a real connection and Michie was always so sweet and so full of heart, even if her death. She was one of those really genuine people, with a heart as big as her little body. I'm so glad to have known her, however the circumstances. I hope I have someone like her by my side when my time comes.

This is with great sadness that i received the news today that Michie passed away.
I remember Michie as a very happy student, constantly wanting to improve and be the best that she could be. I also remember her very well for her contagious smile and positive energy. As her teacher, I had the privilege to have her as a student.
To her family, my family and I would like to offer you our deepest condolences.
