Obituary of Kamal Kishore DOSAJ

Kamal beloved husband of Usha Dosaj of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the age of 72 years. Born in Katwe, Uganda, Kamal lived a fulfilling, adventurous life which included hunting, fishing, sport cars, travelling, gardening, cooking and specially, entertaining, which was one of his greatest passions. Upon being expelled from Uganda by Idi Amin in 1972, Kamal and Usha immigrated to England, where they lived for two years. They then moved to Canada, where they built a wonderful life together. In 1982, Kamal and Usha's lives were further enriched when their daughter Meera came into their lives. Kamal is survived by his loving wife, Usha; daughter and son-in-law, Meera and Robert Newman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kanwar and Ingrid, Prakash and Santosh, Satpal and Ranjana; sisters and brothers-in-law, Laxmi, Nimmy and Rajinder, Shakuntala and Pali as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Dinanath and Pavarti and his brother-in-law, Haqikat. Kamal was dearly loved and admired by everyone who knew him becasue of his bubbly personality, love for life and people, compassion, generosity and his one-of-a-kind, multi-faceted sense of humour. Kamal has touched countless lives and leaves us all with marvellous memories that will warm our hearts and make us smile forever more.
