Katherine May Adams beloved wife of Ralph Adams, passed away quietly in her sleep on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the age of 89 years after battling health problems.
Katherine was born in Sprague, Manitoba in March 1926. She grew up in a close family with three brothers and three sisters, and completed high school in Winnipeg, subsequently graduating as a registered nurse from the Winnipeg General Hospital School of Nursing in 1949. She married Ralph Adams in 1950, a marriage that lasted 65 years. She was fond of gardening, scrapbooking, and dancing.
She is survived by her husband Ralph, her sons and daughters-in-law Gregory and Barbara, Colin and Jeannie, Jeff and Dusty, her daughter Susan, as well as her grandchildren Sonya, Mark, Kristen, Paul, Blake, and Caitlyn.
Kay will be dearly missed and mourned by all who knew her.
A private service will be held on June 21, 2015.
