Obituary of Linda Marie Elizabeth HACK

Linda Hack beloved wife of Rick Hack, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the age of 59 years.
Linda was born and raised in Calgary, graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Nursing in 1977, found her niche in public health. Later as a first aid instructor for St. John Ambulance she discovered a love for teaching. In recent years Linda was a peer support volunteer for Wellspring Calgary. She found peace and joy helping others deal with the challenges of cancer and went on to establish Cervical Cancer Support in 2013.
With gratitude for a beautiful 33 year marriage, Linda leaves behind the loves of her life, her husband Rick and daughter Julia.
Linda was predeceased by her father Douglas in 2000 and her mother Sarah (neeKanarie) in 2012.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Wellspring Calgary, 1404 Home Road NW, Calgary, AB, T3B 1G7.
