Obituary of Yvonne JOHNSON

Yvonne Johnson of Calgary, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2013, at the age of 82 years. Yvonne was born in Calgary on April 26, 1931 into a large family of nine girls and one boy. Yvonne lived all of her life in Calgary where she met her late husband Norman Johnson. Together they raised four children. Our mother was not a famous person, nor did she aspire to having a career. It was our Mother’s life work to love her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She wasn’t always perfect at it but we haven’t met anyone else who came as close. We were always in her thoughts and she never denied us her time. Even when reconciled to her own passing our mother struggled to tell us that she loved us. Yvonne is survived by her daughter Marie, her husband Barry and their two sons, Brett and Matthew; her son Brian, his wife Jennifer and their son Corbin; her son Bruce, his wife Lori and their two children, Elliott and Annabel; and her son Dwayne, his wife Patti and their two children Everest and Ella. We will miss and love her always. At Yvonne’s request no service will be held.
