With profound grief we announce the sudden passing of Mr. Davinderjit Singh Sandhu, beloved husband of Daljit Kaur Sandhu, on Monday, July 13, 2015 at the age of 69 years.
He was born in India on October 5, 1945. He served as a state police officer during his younger years. He was also a prominent regional soccer player. After arriving in Canada in 2005, he lived a very active life. He helped his family bring up three grandchildren. He regularly attended South Asian Seniors meetings and served as a General Secretary for the association.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, daughter-in-law, four grandchildren, four brothers and four sisters.
