Ann, it has been many years since we have seen each other, or spoken, but I remember, fondly, how you spoke of your parents. Wonderful people, the two of them. It is very hard to lose our parents and become the older generation, but you have been taught well, and will soldier on. Please accept my sincere sympathy. hugs, Marguerite

Auntie Jean will be greatly missed. We have never heard a harsh word from her or about her. She was peaceful, graceful and kind and had the natural ability to make everyone feel welcomed and important to her. We will always remember her genuine smile, heartfelt laughter and quick witted sense of humor.
Our most sincere condolences to Ann, Marc, and Margaret, and all of their families.

I was indeed saddened to learn of our dear Jeannie's passing. But it was most uplifting to read her most positive message to see that she truly was a "tough old bird" to live nearly 90 years with her wit, humor, positive thinking and love surrounding her in spite of the sessions of cancer she endured.
Cal and I so very much enjoyed our many years of friendship with Jean and Bill going back to about 1970 for the beginning of our curling times. We have so very many stories of lots of good laughs, and good friendship with our very special group. I appreciated their care and concern and friendship when Cal passed away nearly 8 years ago.
I regret that I will not be able to attend the service tomorrow, but my thoughts and positive energies will be with all of you as you say your final good-byes.
You are a remarkable family from a most remarkable couple that I am so honored to have called my friends.

Dear Ann, Margaret and Mark: I so regret not stopping by the hospital on my way back to Vancouver earlier this month. My middle name is Jean, named after your mother, and I have always had a spot in my heart for her. I will miss not visiting.
I've decided to fly to Calgary Saturday to visit Mom and Judy and attend the memorial on Monday before flying back to Vancouver Saturday evening. I look forward to seeing everyone and hearing wonderful stories of my special aunt.
Hugs to all,
Joy

Ann, Mark, Margaret & Families:
We are very saddened to hear of your loss. Jean was such a friendly, happy & caring person, we shall miss her. Being a neighbor of many, many years, we shared a great number of stories and laughs. Whenever I was alone I always knew I could call on Jean she was always there for me. I will miss her in the yard watering her plants, hanging out her clothes and the light in her window.
Please know that we are thinking about all of you and if you need us for anything we are here to help.

I just heard the news, and I'm so sorry. Jean was such a lovely lady. I hadn't seen her in years, but I did get to see her on July 11th, and I'm so grateful. I'll never forget her making my cousins and I pistachio pudding while we waited out a thunder and lightning storm in Invermere. I think she was worried that we were afraid of the storm, and she was distracting us with kindness! An absolute sweetheart.
