Obituary of Charles William ROSS

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chuck Ross of Calgary, on Monday, July 20, 2015 at the age of 74 years.
Chuck passed away peacefully in his home after a short battle with Cancer. He was surrounded by his beloved wife Millie, daughter Karen, other loved ones and his loyal dog Dixie.
Chuck was born and raised in Victoria, BC. He moved to Calgary in 1957 where he met Millie in 1965. They were married on July 29, 1967 and later raised two daughters. Chuck worked for the Calgary Board of Education as Facility Operator for 28 years. He retired in the fall of 2007. Chuck enjoyed his retirement travelling with Millie and working in his flower and vegetable gardens. He will be sadly missed and remembered by his easy going and giving nature, sense of humor and love of life.
Chuck is survived by his wife Millie; his daughter Karen and son-in-law Callan Boyce; son-in-law Jeff Clark; seven beautiful grandchildren, Alexandra, Kyle, Bryant, Madison, Thomas, Brooklyn and Lucas all from Calgary; his sister Barb Alexander of Surrey, BC; brother Rick and sister-in-law Maureen Ross of Chestermere; as well as many extended family and good friends.
He was predeceased by his daughter Cheryl Clark and his parents.
A Memorial Services will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 2:00p.m. Please forward condolences through www.calgarycrematorium.com
