Obituary of William Robert McLAVISH

William “Bill” McLavish of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015 at the age of 86 years. Bill was born in Tompkins, Saskatchewan received his education in Regina and his University education in Saskatoon. Bill worked as a chartered accountant in Calgary for many years, retiring from Modern Packaging in 1985. Together with a close friend, Bill continued to work part time during income tax season. Bill loved the outdoors and had a great passion for his greenhouse and gardening, but most of all he adored the love of his life, Kay and the time they spent together in their home. Bill is survived by his loving brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Sandy McLavish of Kelowna, BC ; brother-in-law, Paul Ursaki as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was predeceased by his wife, Kay in 2008; parents, William and Hannah; sister and brother–in-law, Phyllis and Max Murray; sister-in-law, Dorothy Ursaki and his twin brother Owen in infancy.
