It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Newman Goldfeldt beloved husband of Gladys Goldfeldt of Calgary, on Friday, July 31, 2015 at the age of 81 years.
Don was born and raised in Calgary. He worked as a CPA in the oil and gas industry until the age of 40. He then started his own real estate investment company. Don loved spending time outdoors camping, fishing, hunting and gardening. Don and Gladys traveled the world and for many years enjoyed wintering in Palm Springs.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Gladys; sons Darrell (Lynn) and Keith; grandsons Travis and Brice; siblings Eileen, Sylvia and Phillip (Marilyn); sister-in-law Muriel Fleck (Fred); aunt Margaret Hanson as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Sharing of memories and celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the family home.
