Ruth was born December 7, 1928 to Sarah and Charles Hallam. Ruth is survived by her brothers Eric and Hugh and her sister Jean. Ruth followed her passion and became a Vancouver General Hospital Nurse. Her career blossomed, she made life long friends, and when travelling she met and married her husband David. They continued to further their education and travel the world, finally settling down in Calgary to raise their family.
She is also survived by all her children Graeme, Maureen, and Andrew; and Cayleigh her grandchild. After the kids grew up Ruth and David continued to visit friends and family around the world enjoying a loving companionship of fifty years.
Ruth will be dearly missed as the person who was always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed anything.

Memorial Services will be held at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME, 1708 16th Avenue N.W. (across from the North Hill Shopping Centre, Calgary) on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com.
