My mom (Betty Reed, now deceased) was a good friend of Marie's while in Huntington Manor. After mom passed away, Marie and I kept contact. She would call a few times a year, always remembering what our family was up to. I would give her cherries from our tree so she could make jelly for all of the staff at Christmas.
Marie was a lovely lady, with a mind and memory sharper than mine!
My condolences, and I hope that she is happily doing all of her crafts again, and looking down from above with love.
