So many of us were saddened to hear of the loss of Pam...Of particular concern is for the wellbeing of her mom...known to us kids of Malton as Mrs. Rolfe. Pam's passing is such a mystery to many of us who cared...would have sent flowers...or attended her service...had we known. I had recently reconnected with Pam only to learn of the loss of my childhood friend, Pam's sister Pauline...It had been many years as all of our lives took different journeys. As young teens we spent time at the Rolfe's home on Coral Dr. disco dancing in the basement for hours with Pam and her boyfriend of the time teaching us how to dance. Singing along to Rod Stewart songs were another fond memory as well as a trip to Wasaga Beach. I still remember the large portraits of two very pretty little girls which hung on the wall leading upstairs. Mrs. Rolfe...I send my love to you on this day...July 3rd... Pam's birthday...xoxo. I hope this message reaches you...

My dearest Pam, you were my friend since we were 10 years old. Your forever in my heart! It is regretful that we would let months or years go by without talking but when we did it was like no time went by. I was thinking the other day that we haven't had a catch up for awhile and I have found out that my lovely friend is gone. I hope your in a better place and I will cherish our friendship. I am blessed to have known you and will continue to have a giggle when I remember all the crazy, silly totally fun times we had together. RIP my friend and give Pauline a big hug and a kiss for me. Much Love

All I can express is shock, and how much I miss Pam. I don't think I have ever known someone more generous than Pamela, She gave from the heart.
