Fern's aunt was first admired for marrying a very handsome WW2 sailor soldier.
Later after the birth of Sheryl and Barry, as a 16 year old, she was asked to holiday with the family to Disneyland and CA for a month. On our honeymoon to Banff, we visited Esther, taking both children to the Calgary Stampede. Later, while I attended U of C, one summer, we enjoyed the Esther Bollinger hospitality for a month. Our last memory was a very happy visit with a gracious Esther for two hours in her nursing home, just a day before she was called to eternity. Her memory as a witty, kind and loving person, will always be our solace as we grieve her presence with us.
