Obituary of Earl Wilfred YOUNG

Earl Young, beloved husband of Ruth Young of Calgary, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015 at the age of 93 years.
Earl served his country as a flight instructor with the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII. Earl had a distinguished career with the Hudson Bay Company retiring to Calgary in 1988. Earl dearly loved his family and cherished being with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandson. He was a gentle and kind, loving and patient, man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Earl is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Ruth, son and daughter-in-law, Don and Gloria Young; daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Mike Finnerty; grandsons, Kevin (Linda) Finnerty and Darryl Finnerty (Emily Bacon); great-grandson, Tyson Finnerty as well as several extended family members.
He was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Barbara and his sister, Marjorie Holland.
A Memorial Service will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 – 4th Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.
