Obituary of Robina Jean Riach

Mrs. Robina Jean Riach of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the age of 85 years. She was born in Innisfail Alberta; spent her childhood in Bowden Alberta, and her adult life in Calgary. She was active in her community, living in Cambrian Heights for 47 years where she filled various volunteer positions on the community association. Jean was a 65 year member of Order of Eastern Star and a charter member of Friendship Chapter. Recently she was an active member of the residents' board of Hunterview Manor where she was a crafty whist player, a mean bingo dauber, and boot camp instructor leading the Hunterview residents in exercise classes. Jean was a lifelong active gardener and baker and truly loved family, friends and life in general. Jean will be lovingly remembered by sons Ian and daughter-in- law Julie, Alex and daughter-in-law Sandy; grandchildren Lisa, Michael, Jason, Marley, Dylan, Alicia, Janell, Lanaya and Caydon; sisters Victoria and Roberta and their families. Jean was predeceased by her husband Dave and her brother Lindsey.
