Ilse will be dearly missed by her work family at the AER. I met and worked with Ilse when I was 20 over 30 years ago. She taught me how to make the best Black Forest Cake on the planet. I made this cake for my family and friends on special occasions. I will be making one soon in memory of Ilse. I will miss seeing Ilse's warm smile coming into the office when I leave the office. My sympathies to the family. Anna

We both worked with Ilse for many years. It was always a pleasure to stop by her desk and chat and the late night support phone calls often included at least a brief sociial chat. Her treats for IT staff were always enjoyed and appreciated by those fortunate to partake.
Our most sincere condolences to Ilse's family and friends. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Ilse was a co-worker, neighbor and friend to me. I always enjoyed and will cherish our visits over a coffee and homemade sweet. She always considered others before herself, so thoughtful and kind.
My condolences to her family.

Bryan and Richard I had the pleasure of working with your Mom for 33 years. She was not only my co-worker but a dear friend. Through association my sister Margaret was also fortunate to get to know her. Your Mom was a kind and wonderful lady who will be dearly missed. May your hearts soon be filled with joyful times and memories together as you celebrate a life well lived. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

It is with sadness that I write this note. My sympathies to IIse's family.
I was fortunate to know your mother's loving spirit through work; usually as she was arriving and I was leaving. We talked about kids and life. Interestingly, she was born the same year as my mother. Maybe that's why we got along so great!
I will miss her but will think of our visits with fondness.
Blessings,
Lisa

Very sad news to hear of Ilse's passing. My condolences to her family. Ilse and I started work at the OGCB around the same time. Our paths crossed when I needed help with a mainframe job or in the stairways/parking lot as I left the office and she arrived for her evening work shift. She always had a smile and we would stop for a chat about the current happenings in the office. Cheryl Adolf

My deepest sympathies to Ilse's family. Ilse was a very dear friend to both my parents. When I was a child I would often come home and find Ilse having a cup of coffee with my Mom as they were having one of their "chats." Ilse would always stop and ask how I was doing and was always sincerely interested in what I had to say. She will be missed.

So very saddened to hear of Ilse's passing. She was one of the first people I met when I joined the old ERCB in 1983. Over my 30 years there we spent many hours discussing anything and everything late at night when my work kept me at the office. A proud and loving mother and wife. I feel blessed for having known her. My deepest sympathies to her family.

My deepest sympathy to Isle's family on her passing. I am a co-worker of Ilse's and only got to know her about 10 years ago, but forged a bond, and got to know her better when we occasionally met during the day if Ilse happened to be in. She was a wonderful lady, and very interesting to talk to her. I enjoyed our conversations. She will be missed!

Dear Brian and Rick, words can not express the shock and sadness when I learned of your mothers passing. Auntie Ilse, was a beautiful women inside and out. She always made me feel welcome when I was a child whom grew up so closely to her home. I remember there were many times that I would walk to the Macs in lake view and every once and awhile I would ring her bell. She was always happy to see me and welcomed me in to share a cup of tea and home made cookies that she had stashed away. I felt so warm when I was around her. Even as I grew and moved out of the neighborhood and started working for my mom, I was happy to pick up the repairs at Joes in hopes that she would be home for a quick surprise visit to enjoy a moment together and catch up on what you boys were doing and tell her my life story lol. You know I'm a rambler.
I will always cherish those moments I had her all to myself, and she will always be close to my heart.
She raised two beautiful boys.
Love Dani xoxo
